Schools For Chiapas
Beginning with some statistics from the 2010 Mexican census, this short Schools for Chiapas article aims to give the reader some insight into the actual state of education provided by the federal and state governments in Chiapas. Based on this information, it provides a rationale for the autonomous education system established by the Zapatistas within their communities. Finally, it briefly explains how this system works and where it stands today.
