ˇBienvenidos! Welcome to the Teaching and Learning Forum of the Schools for Chiapas web site.

This public, moderated forum is dedicated to students, teachers, parents and community activists who wish to know more about the Zapatista movement, the Mexican state of Chiapas,  and the global movement for justice democracy, and dignity.  We hope you will make this site your own by sharing resources and experiences, by expressing your opinions and feelings, and especially by engaging with us all in an honest exploration of the most critical issues facing humanity today.

Awesome idea getting this site running Pedro. I will do my best to spend some time here every day and get discussions going and answer questions for people.

Thanks, I finally figured out how to get on the board.  Am I on some terrorist watch list now?

Good Afternoon to All,

I am new to this forum, I love the website.  I'm trying to see if anyone can help me with a question I've had for some time now.  It may sound dumb and I'm telling you in advance, Sorry!

I want to start a community activism cause, but need a little information.  Do you guys have a toolkit that I can use as a resource?  The other thing I want to do is find out; what can I donate, besides money?  How and where would I send the donations collected?

I want to get as involved in this cause as I can, Im planning a trip to Chiapas for about a month sometime in a couple of years, but in the mean time I want to do what I can.

Any and all information would be much appreciated.

I am coming back to Chiapas (I spent a month there last April) for a minimum of 3 months and wondered if there is any preperation, or activism  i can do whilst i am back in the UK in September?

Many thanks,

Nicola
