To all Delegates ~ Past, Present and Potential,

As I looked over the list of new members to these forums, I found the names of many new delegates.

I realized that a forum, dedicated to you, where you could post a retrospective of your experience on a delegation, pictures of your trip, your comments or your questions might be a good way to build rapport and perhaps even long term community.

So, here it is.  Please feel free to use this space to share and communicate with each other.  I will try to "moderate" which means I will keep track of postings and offer comments when/where I feel I have something useful to contribute.

Welcome to all!  Hope to hear from you, soon!

Por un mundo donde quepan todos los mundos,

Libby

copy from an email received from a #75 delegate:

Hello Susan,

Thanks for the email. I just got to Tijuana yesterday and will be going home tomorrow, just in time to start school. In October I will be contacting you to let you know about setting up a booth for schools for chiapas on Sunday November 2nd, Dia de los Muertos, in East Los Angeles. I have to see if I can secure a spot first, I will do that this week.

I cant say enough about how great an experience I had with the delegation and everything in Chiapas. An indispensable experience, I feel a sense of duty to do my part in spreading the word about the zapatista struggle. This revolution is a reflection of the type of struggle we all have as individuals when we fight to take charge of our own lives, find our own paths, and live the kind of life we are meant to. Relating to the Zapatistas in that way, that was my biggest surprise. Peter asked us what our biggest surprise was, and well that was mine. Tell him I said hello, and it has been a privilege meeting you.
