From its very first days, Schools for Chiapas has received inspiration and support from individuals, organizations, and collectives in many countries. Today we welcome the involvement, and encourage the participation, of people everywhere.
Below we have listed a few of the most common forms of international participation, however please do not feel limited by this list. The possibilities are endless and no matter who you are, or where you live, you are welcome to join us and get involved.
1. Travel programs and school construction teams to Chiapas

Corn was invented in
Chiapas
and it continues to be the daily food for hundreds of thousands of Mayan people who call themselves the people of corn. Genetic modifications are horrific to the Mayan and Zapatista communities off you seed to grow in solidarity with their efforts to keep their corn pure.
